"AIRDRIVE DESIGN" is the next generation design concept for spinning reels. 24CERTATE implements this cutting-edge technology in the front unit, giving anglers superior maneuverability with maximum power and stiffness.
This ground-breaking development has two important consequences for CERTATE's history.
One is the culmination of the LT concept, which was achieved with the MONOCOQUE BODY. The second is the REAL FOUR concept carried forward from the first CERTATE that revolutionized spinning reels in 2004.
REAL CONTROL was the last part that needed an innovative development, which has now been achieved with the 24CERTATE through the innovative AIRDRIVE DESIGN technology.

Special surface treatment has been added to increase the hardness of the drive gear and water resistance has been improved on the handle side, also the drags and pinions on some of the larger models have been strengthened to SALTIGA-equivalent specifications.
